The purpose for “Experience God” is to commit to God and the fellow participants as you dedicate your
time to the commitments listed below. During this study, you may find yourself not able to do
everything listed, but by signing this covenant, you are agreeing to practice these principles as you go
through this study.
As a disciple of Jesus Christ, I commit myself to…
• acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord of my life each day;
• make a diligent effort to attend all study sessions;
• spend at least 30 minutes a day or as needed to complete all assignments;
• have a daily practice to spend in quiet time;
• journal daily about how God is speaking to me and I speaking to Him;
• be faithful to my church in attendance and stewardship;
• love, encourage and aspire each participant;
• share my faith with others;
• keep anything that is shared in the sessions in confidence;
• submit myself as an accountable participant to others in group;
• become an active discipler of others as God give us opportunities;
• support my church financially by practicing biblical giving;
• and pray daily for my study group members.
